That seems amazing to me. Yes, Fox, the Govt all should have had programs that cover their employees and their families. Cant imagine no life insurance or health insurance benefits with jobs of that magnitude.
There's a real question in my mind whether Tony was able to buy life insurance, with his risk of cancer so high that he was getting colonoscopies every six months before they even found the cancer - and they still found it too late! You have to wonder, speaking of his government service, how history would have been different if Tony had been Press Secretary for the Bush Administration from day 1. Just think how differently things like the "sixteen words" - which the WH backed away from but patently were absolutely true. Tony didn't give an inch, but questioned the premise of the questions when they were ridiculous - as so often they were.
So you have to consider that any Republican administration needs to find a way to fund a high-powered, talk-show caliber, Press Secretary. You need a Tony Snow, now sadly no longer available, or an Ann Coulter, or somebody with that much combativeness to keep your ratings from getting entirely trashed the way Bush's ratings have been by the Disinformation Media.
Well, I’m thinking Tony has been in the business for a long time and am sure he had life/medical insurance long before this cancer came to light. Tony was a responsible, loving, caring husband and father...I’m sure he had something going for his family in the event something happened to him.
