Reagan won in 1980 and 1984. And while they did vote for Al Smith in 1928, MA remained a HEAVILY GOP state from before the Civil War up until about 1960. It was liberals that shriveled the party, with Weld crippling the rebounding party in the ‘90s and *omney delivering the death blow in 2006. Ah, but why would you be interested in facts ? They get in the way of shilling for your idol.

“Reagan won in 1980 and 1984. And while they did vote for Al Smith in 1928, MA remained a HEAVILY GOP state from before the Civil War up until about 1960.”

1960 was before I was born. I’ll live with that view:
Massachusetts has been one of the most Democratic-leaning states since before I was born over 40 year ago. Which is somewhat accurate in that the Kennedy regime is a part of what made Massachusetts such a Democrat bastion.

“It was liberals that shriveled the party” Maybe it was, but it was GOP liberals for 50 years prior to Romney who did it then. (Actually, no, it really was Kennedy building the irish catholic voter base into a Democrat base in the state.)

“Ah, but why would you be interested in facts ? “
You do have a flair for ironic stupidity don’t you.
Facts destroy your slanders.
