WASHINGTON Republican Tom McClintock is atop the money chase in one of California's most expensive congressional races, but his Democratic challenger has more than five times as much cash in the bank, according to new campaign spending reports.
While Democrat Charlie Brown had virtually no opposition for the Democratic nomination, McClintock won the right to advance by clubbing former Republican Rep. Doug Ose in the June primary.
But McClintock's victory cost him: He raised nearly $1.6 million in his bid to replace Republican Rep. John Doolittle in the state's 4th Congressional District, and he finished the quarter with but $117,000 in cash on hand, according to a report filed Tuesday with the Federal Election Commission.
Brown has raised more than $1.3 million and had more than $670,000 in cash on hand.

Doolittle was damaged goods. Brown can spend all he wants, but McClintock will win handily.

The RINO Ose heavily outspent, tapping his own personal fortune, and McClintock trounched him.

RINO Ose also hurled (as in puked) vulgar venom in a most vicious and unjustified way at the consistent, committed conservative who should have been CA's Governor since the historic Recall of Gray Davis!!!
The damages to Doolittle were mainly propogated by the RINO's in the Whitehouse who initiated a never-ending investigation into John's relationship with a busted lobbyist and killed him politically by never charging John with anything to defend himself against, because he was too conservative!!!
So Republican politics in some cases has become just as criminalized as has most of the Democrat politics!!! Oh! And just as vulgar, too!!!

Will he get any support from the RINO dominated national GOP? All their money is going to prop up McCain.
And the RINO Wilson gang in the CA GOP are working against McClintock.
Feel the "Unity"?
