Make a donation to Sen. Barack Obama before July 31st and you could be one of 10 lucky contestants that will win three rooms of carpeting and a gift selection from the Spiegel catalogue.
Ok, not really. But you can be one of ten lucky donors that can win a trip to Denver for the last two days of the Democratic convention, including the final spectacular event, Barack's acceptance speech of the Democratic nomination for president before a ginormous crowd of nearly 80,000 people.

This brings up an interesting topic for discussion though:
If you could meet Obama for 30 seconds face-to-face, what would you do, ask or say?
I would ask: “Senator Obama, by your own admission, you lack the experience for this very important position. Your statements on foreign policy indicate your gross incompetence in Federal leadership. You have not demostrated any leadership in dometic issues on a national level either. Why have you chosen to exploit your skin color for your personal glorification, at the expense of this country’s safety and well-being?”

Here is the actual e mail.
My first thought was be great if a Freeper won.
Im out here in Denver, Colorado visiting the site of the
Democratic National Convention, and there is excitement in the mountain air.
Folks are working hard on Barack's plan for a truly open convention. It will be a historic event, and you can be a part of it.
If you make a donation in any amount before midnight on July 31st, you could be selected to travel to Denver for the last two days of the convention, including the final event --
Barack's acceptance of the Democratic nomination for President before 75,000 people.
Ten supporters will be selected from all over the country, and each will be able to bring one guest. We'll provide airfare, accommodations, and two days of convention activities -- including a private meeting with Barack before his historic speech.
Our team shot a short video of the stadium to give you a sense of the event.
Watch the video and make a donation of $25 today, and you could go Backstage with Barack:
https://donate.barackobama.com/backstage
Supporters like you are the reason this campaign has been possible.
We are thrilled that some of you will be able to celebrate what you accomplished with us in Denver.
But we have a long way to go, and Barack can't do this without you.
Thanks, Steve

Dear DNC,
I'm a white guy and would like to sit behind Barack Obama when he is giving his acceptance speech. I'm very good at smiling, laughing and clapping on cue. I would also like to bring along my “I BELIEVE LARRY SINCLAR” poster.

You're right. I wonder what group will be opening for him.
And we thought the Clintons were bad when it came to Hollywood flamboyancy. Obammy's got it all over them.

Why do you want to take more of my hard earned money in taxes and fritter it away on increased government spending and programs?....You are wrong for America!
