Why would ANYONE but a whack job live in a place like that? My Aunt left there due to their outrageous property taxes: Her taxes went from around $6,000 a year in New Jersey to $0 in Mississippi (on a BIGGER HOUSE!!)

How did she like moving to a totally different part of the country? I’m lucky in that I’m a train ride away from my friends. From Brooklyn, NY to Stamford, CT.
But I don’t know how I’d handle a midwestern state.
