McLame would not hammer a nail if required. The guy is so pathetically weak as a leader.

Just think about this. Remember the other day when we heard from a poll that congress has a 91% disapproval rating. Now look at the two men that are running for President.

mccain is pretty good with this style of speaking. Using both a script and off the cuff. Much better than “ugh ugh umm umm” B. Hussein TelePrompTer Obama.

Are you watching? I’m no big McCain fan but he’s sounding ok.

And he did make Obama look ridiculous with his flip flops and his policy speech delivered today BEFORE he visited Afghanistan and Iraq. McCain quoted Obama saying the surge wouldn’t work, etc and then trying to act like he had supported the surge.

I have a lot of issues with McCain but as I listen to him now he’s doing a pretty damn good job of exposing the Obama “flip/flops” on the war in Iraq & Afghanistan(Obama has NEVER even been to Afghanistan and only ONCE to Iraq)

ya might want to listen to his speech...always good to check out the speech before you make a judgment. LOL

McCain says “I won’t bluster and make idle threats but when I am CIC there will be no where the terrorists can run and no where they can hide.” “And I will get OBL”...No learning curve for president in time of war. I have experience to make the right call in Iraq”....

Said Afghanistan is the world’s problem and the world should help with the cost.
We need to get alternative crops to drug trade and arrest the trafficers.
Wants special envoy to work on Afghanistan’s neighbor’s cooperation. Pakistan should stop giving sanctuary to terrorists - help local tribes who are against terrorists like we did in Anbar. Obama wrong for saying we’ll attack Pakistan.

When I’m CinC there will be nowhere terrorists can run and nowhere they can hide. HUGE CHEER. I’ll bring OBL to justice. Standing Ovation.

In wartime judgement and experience matter....no time for a learning curve and he supported the surge 1 1/2 year before it happened and it was unpopular at the beginning.

Nothing more important to me than the security and well being of the country I love.

Standing Ovation.

now open for questions.

Both CNN and MSNBC turned down the sound when the applause began to make it sound muted.

Did obama take questions after his speech?

just wondering if he tripped over his own ego again..

He is doing a pretty good job. I thought Obama’s speech sucked. Obama’s backward looking speech infuriated me. He simply repeated half lies, left out important facts like the US shipped out 500 tons of yellowcake in the last month. He still claims there are no ties between Iraq and Al Qaeda even though Iraq provide at least one passport to the WTC1 terrorists.

He has no vision other than the usual we will shower the world with dollars and pretty words and all will be well.
