VANCOUVER — U.S. army deserter Robin Long is slated to be deported back to his army base in Fort Knox, Ky., Tuesday, which would make him the first resister to the U.S. war effort in Iraq to be sent out of Canada. Madam Justice Anne Mactavish of the Federal Court of Canada cleared the way for the deportation late Monday, dismissing a last-ditch attempt to delay the process while the 25-year-old pursued further appeals.

Hey Christopher Robin, now that 500 tons of yellowcake has been shipped from Iraq to Canada for re-processing, you can feel secure in knowing that the war is justified,

Now, off to the front, you stinking coward! You’ve got the point every day, every patrol! Your parents will honor you as a hero, a dead hero, but a hero.

Not likel;y. The last deserter to turn himself in after hiding in Canada was only detained for three days, then dishonorable dischraged. No court marshal. (Kentucky case?)

It looks like Canadian taxpayers have finally put enough political pressure on those liberal judges (there have been a lot of Radio talk shows lately with very angry Canadians phoning in)to quit wasting taxpayer's money on those cowards and send them home.

Now Canadian tax payers should band together and sue those deserters expelled and get their tax dollars back. That's quite a bit of money for some of them, hundreds of thousands each in legal and court costs.

Consider the fact that Canada has troops in Afganistan, why would they harbor deserters from the U.S.? They shouldn’t!

Course if I had known there was a war going on, I probably would have picked jail.

All he has to do now is throw someone else’s medals over the fence at the capitol building, and he could someday be an influencial senator for the Democratic Party.
