"Boren says he will not support Barack Obama for President."

He's not endorsing Obama...but he will vote for him.

And IMO, it appeared by his reply to you...that he's weaseling on the Fairness Doctrine vote.

This would be a great issue for our side to use as a club against the Dems. Unfortunately our (?) nominee has shown he is willing to curtail freedom of speech as well. Not only did he co-author that hideous legislation that GWB should have vetoed, but he even said he would support legislation that would limit negative campaigning. Almost as scary as Obama.

I'm afraid Osage Orange is right. If you're a Dim you can't risk alienating Reid or Pelosi. Look at Liberman. He's about to be bounced from his committee chair and from the Dim caucus because he dared to break away from the rabid pack.

I guess to be a Dim you have to be a figurative freak of nature and be born without a spine. It must be uncomfortable, to say the least!

Boren will vote for Obama, then do his best to convince his Oklahoma constituents that he didn't-—sort of.
