Is this Boren David Boren’s son?

The good people of Oklahoma and several other southern and western states need to stop electing these so-called independent or conservative Dems, or Dems. with famous family names. Whatever they are, they still go to DC and caucus with Reid and Pelosi, thus giving the Dems. more members and helping them gain and hold onto majorities in both houses of Congress.

A vote to send any Dem. to Washington is a vote for Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Clinton, Kennedy, Shumer and all the rest. No way around that fact.

Look at what the U.S. did to comedian Lenny Bruce for saying dirty words in adult only (adults who paid to see Lenny Bruce BTW) nightclubs.

“What I got arrested for in San Francisco. They said it was vernacular for a favorite homosexual practice. A ten-letter word. Now it ‘ s weird how they manifested that word as homosexual. ‘ Cause I don ‘ t. That word relates to any contemporary chick I know..... or would want to know.... or would love..... or would marry”

We’ve got to get a handle on people trying to restrain free speech.

Yes it’s Boren’s son.

We really have to get the message across that a vote for Boren is a vote for every Dem in Washington.

We are going to lose big in the November elections. The only way to keep things from going all the way to the left is to write letters! The fools in Congress are useless tools of the left, but they can’t ignore piles of letters.

Get ready to write letters (on paper) to the birdbrains in Congress.

“balance the right of a free press with the need for honest and balanced information.”

No, the first amendment needs NOTHING to balance it. It is written as an absolute and should be an absolute. NO WORDS should ever be controlled by the state in any manner. Unfortunately, the first has been sodomized by various courts in America and is little more than a symbol today.

The fairness doctrine and the net neutrality laws give the government far too much power over can be made to finance opposing opinions. More government intrusion is the one single thing this country needs the least.

And yes I think you should be able to yell “FIRE” in a packed movie theatre without fear of criminal liability. The state is not our nanny. However, yelling “FIRE” in a packed movie theatre should open you up to various civil lawsuits if property or persons are harmed, so it really isn’t a smart thing to do.

bttt thank you for your analysis. Very good.

So what’s this that he signed to stop funding for the Fairness Doctrine.

I don’t think that really does anything. If he really wanted to stop it he would sign the discharge petition.

Ok I looked it up at the Library of Congress.

What he says he voted for was the 1 year ban on the bill.

But that one year ban is now over....

I responded to his e-mail once I figured out that what he voted for has now expired.

Mr. Boren, Thank you for responding to my e-mail about the Fairness Doctrine. Unforunately, the bill you signed has now expired. That is why I encourage you to support Congressman Mike Pence's discharge petition for the Fairness Doctrine. Thank you for your time.

I'm afraid Osage Orange is right. If you're a Dim you can't risk alienating Reid or Pelosi. Look at Liberman. He's about to be bounced from his committee chair and from the Dim caucus because he dared to break away from the rabid pack.

I guess to be a Dim you have to be a figurative freak of nature and be born without a spine. It must be uncomfortable, to say the least!

Boren will vote for Obama, then do his best to convince his Oklahoma constituents that he didn't-—sort of.

Basically.....I don't trust any politicians word.

And I trust Dims way less.

I think Boren didn't fall far from the tree.........And to have a President of a Major College, endorse a man such as Obama....Well, I fear for my country.

Below is the form for the answer you received:

Dear _____

Thank you for contacting me about the ______. It is always helpful for me to hear from my fellow Oklahomans about issues that are important to them, and I appreciate the opportunity to respond on this important issue.

[Insert a paragraph or two on the relevant issue here.]

Finally, and most importantly, I will continue to keep your views in mind as Congress considers future legislation related to the _______.

Again, thank you for contacting me about this important issue. If I can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Respectfully Yours,

Dan Boren Member of Congress

LOL.

Now.. do you think it was a staff member that typed in the relevant parts or him?

You know he did not type any of it. To me the question is does he approve the middle paragraphs by issue. I suspect they all do it that way. I know I would.

Probably so.

The fact is.. he’s ducking this issue physically too.

He’s been lying low in DC so people can’t find him to ask him about the Fairness Doctrine.

I just wanna say “Newsflash Ace!” The bill is expired!
Now what are you gonna do!

I think it may be time for a letter writing campaign.
