Bernie Mac said some things that didn’t jive with Obama’s crowd and got a negative reaction for it.
Bernie Mac’s show at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago didn’t fly so well on Friday night as he appeared for a fund-raiser for Barack Obama. In one of his jokes he said, “My little nephew came to me and he said, ‘Uncle, what’s the different between a hypothetical question and a realistic question?’ I said, ‘I don’t know,’ but I said, ‘Go upstairs and ask your mother if she’d make love to the mailman for $50,000,’” reported the Associated Press.
This joke received an angry response from at least one person in the audience who said it was offensive to women. “It’s not funny. Let’s get Barack on,” shouted a man from the crowd, according to AP. Each person in the crowd had paid $2,300 to support the Illinois senator.

The mistake was having a comedian for the opener. Liberals do not have a sense of humor.

The mistake was also in choosing Mac for the opener.......Looks like a bit of pandering to the blacks in the audience, and it looks like it backfired.
All I can say is........heh.

It depends on the jokes though. If he had gotten into a routine of poking fun at Bush, that would have been ok with everyone there.
