I hate to say it, but I am going to:
Cue idiot lefties stating “Afghanistan is un-winnable and it’s all Bush’s fault!”
Prayers for the dead, and hopes we find those responsible and stack them like cordwood.

The problem is the lefties have kind of boxed themselves in with Afghanistan. They've been mouthing support for the Afghan "good war" so as to appear credible when they attack Bush's "bad war" in Iraq (and some liberals truly do see Afghanistan as a legit response to 911 where Iraq was a step too far). This should make it tougher for them to do the defeatnik thing with Afghanistan. It'll be very interesting to see how the left reacts to an intensifying effort in Afghanistan as Iraq continues to improve. Obama the other day was talking up the need get the troops out of Iraq *in order to move them to Afghanistan*, which is a new angle from him. I wonder if the left will buy that.
no, i don’t think so. they’ll just use it as fodder for why we supposedly need to get out of Iraq.
