“Romney is the best all around” - RockinRight

Jim Robinson:

I think this more than anything is the root of my dislike for the man. As I posted earlier, any man who can go on national TV and argue so intensely FOR abortion and even FOR allowing underage girls to get an abortion with or without parental permission as long as she gets a judge’s approval is no conservative, no Republican, no Christian, not even a man at all. Not then. Not now. Not ever. This evil being has no moral bedrock.

Might as well be Ted Kennedy asking for our vote:

I believe a man who would say the things he said on that video is an evil bastard.

The owner of this place does have a way with words doesn’t he? Last but not least and my personal favorite:

As soon as Romney falls down on his knees on national TV in front of God and everyone; and repents and begs for forgiveness for all the innocent young lives that were murdered in the womb on his watch after he ran on the pro-abortion platform, then I will consider it. If the man had any integrity at all, he’d resign and spend the rest of his life and the rest of his money trying to undo some of the wrong he’s done. But not as president. That office is reserved for honest men of the highest character and integrity.

And yet, the most horrific that stands out in my mind is b. hussein’s vote against the ban on “partial birth” aborton. If you know anything about that “procedure”, it’s shocking and heartbreaking - now, if we have to measure degrees of evil, THAT to me is beyond description.

The problem with what you are saying is that you are not distinguishing between someone's “core beliefs” and what someone chooses to run on and promise to do when running for office.

MA was and is a basket case in many ways. Romney couldn't turn black to white. He chose what he could would do and ran on that. He promised to correct MA’s fiscal situation. He told people he would not try to change the law on abortion. They elected him to correct the fiscal situation on condition that he would leave the abortion issue alone.

Romney would never say he was “PRO” abortion. Despite his promise however, he ruled pro life in every way he could while governor.

People who are angry with him over this issue, I believe are using “super sensitive words” to read into Romney what isn't there.
