Fox news deserves alot of respect for the way they are doing all this. And what a blessing for us all to see that living your life for the Lord and loving others does seem to count sometimes in this world, and Tony Snow’s faith has rubbed off in a big way (maybe even bigger than Tony knew)on his co-workers. Its a lesson for us all that maybe just obeying Christ and living our lives right , have more of an impact on this world than we think. And maybe like Tony himself said this disease is being used by God to impact so many others. I know if I was Tony, that would be my greatest joy...knowing that my suffering was somehow used by God to positively impact others. Well I think thats what has happened here. But ti just takes us all being good men/women ... honoring our spouces and families and co-workers. Walking humbly before our God. What a legacy, and all the attention and good will is just spilling over. The tough part is thinking about his wife and kids. Thats the part that gets to me. Its the part thats hard to swalow. They have to go along without him. But knowing this man, his wife probably has six time his faith and humility and will be well able to weather the storm. Still.... my prayers are with them all. God grant them peace and give the kids the understanding they need to get through it.
Oh..yes, you made a very good point. When I think of the times that he talked about his Mother having died of colon cancer when he was 7, you could hear the pain in his voice that she was taken when he was so young.
I am sure that the most painful part of this for him, was the thought that he might do the same to his children, die when they are young.
Unfortunately, his children are still rather young, but I bet he spent a lot of time preparing them, and just being with them.
I ache for Jill as well, to lose such a wonderful man, so young.
