This is from an article last month. Did a search and couldn't find anything here on FR. Great news for gun owners in Ohio!

Cool. You can now carry concealed into a liquor store or when dropping off the kids at school. And you gain added protection with new Castle Doctrine rule in defending yourself wherever you have a lawful right to be.

It also permits guns to be carried in retail establishments that sell liquor, as long as the licensee isn't consuming.

If I am reading this correctly, you'd be allowed to carry in a bar/resturaunt where liquor is served, provided you're not drinking alcohol......?

If so, that's reassuring. You may not have time to get to your car and unlock your weapon in an encounter with a belligerent drunk. A little slap of the gunleather usually persuades someone to calm down fast and gives you a chance to leave without incident.
