Problem with the GOP globalist and free traitors is they view the economy from a Wall Street big picture level. The US GDP grew under free trade, and at the surface it looks very good. But free trade also has caused regional dislocation of whole small towns and communities. Add the Wall Street inspired borrow money to invest/or purchase schemes (hedge funds, credit cards and now loans against ones remaining asset 401K plans) to tempt the American consumer we are seeing the fruits (rotten fruit) of our personal and government burrow and buy mentality. If our elites on Wall Street are doing it, why not the politicians or vice versa. If the US survives this self inflicted crisis we will see new attitudes towards Wall Street, and US investment merchants. The people will demand new government policies and regs to rein them in. Our period of deregulated free market enterprise is over because there has been too many disruptions and scandals caused by hands off government and close relation between investment merchants and elected reps lobbied to look the other way. If the free marketeer is complaining, they have no one to blame but themselves and their immoral approach to free markets. Offering loans to people without documentation in order to earn commissions and selling it to re mortgaging companies, offering credit cards to anyone including college students with no income and now offering loans to tapped out consumers against their only asset left, their 401k plan. The madness has to stop, officials need to be held accountable and the immoral investment merchant class need to be rounded up, tried, and if found guilty, shot.
