Art,

Hang in there. I come here to get a dose of reality, because it’s unreal out there.

I call my reps in DC regularly, but I can see they are further and further out of touch with regular Americans, and it makes me wonder how everyone managed to sell out so thoroughly.

This Presidential election is Exhibit #1. Yikes!

It seems the government has to ruin everything it touches.

And medical care is next on the list.

It would be nice if the Bishops would stick to their knitting and excommunicate a few pro-abort politicians and defend the faith, instead of worrying about communal health care.

It isn’t just a poor idea. It’s EEEVIL. And the bishops are for it.

The last time around, they were on the bandwagon. The only concession to Catholicism they made was to object, very politely, to the fact that HillaryCare would have forced Catholic hospitals to do abortions, or shut down.

But that wasn’t enough to get them to stop stumping for HillaryCare.

When I refer to “them,” I mean the USCCB.

There are twelve bishops in the U.S. who have announced that they believe Canon 915 is to be obeyed.

Which means that 95% of the bishops in the U.S. are giving the other twelve bishops a bad name.
