That is sadly true... Conservatives would be well-served to remember Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment, and
his speech on compromise.
The reasons conservatives feel marginalized is that they have done it to themselves. Demanding ideologically pure candidates in every little aspect leaves you with no viable candidates.
