Citizens should, as a standard practice, take responsibility for their views -- the matters of fact and principle that they wish to put before the public for consideration -- by appending their full, legal names to their expressions, even in blog posts.

What, to make it easier for the likes of Ms. Allen here to stalk and "stop" (her word in the original WP hit piece!) us bloggers who engage in free speech and get the truth out?

No thanks! I don't want her or any other Obama minion (or any other potential sicko out there) showing up on my front door to harrass me and my family.

Such a tactic is criminal. Even the cyber stalking may be criminal in the way that it is being used to intimidate posters.

See FEC election law.

TITLE 18 - CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

PART I - CRIMES

CHAPTER 29 - ELECTIONS AND POLITICAL ACTIVITIES

Sec. 594. Intimidation of voters

-STATUTE-

Whoever intimidates, threatens, coerces, or attempts to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to vote or to vote as he may choose, or of causing such other person to vote for, or not to vote for, any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, at any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing such candidate, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.

Maybe she doesn't know what DNC Brownshirts for Kerry did in the last presidential election:
