But corporate casinos don't? And if they do, shouldn't Las Vegas, with teh povery and economic destruction that casinos cause be similar to a town in Haiti?

Absolutely not! I have visited Foxwoods, who have golf courses, hotels, resorts, museums, upscale restaurants, unwritten but understood dress codes, shops, theaters, an arena, you name it! They pay well, treat their employees well, pay the state millions per month in taxes, and they DO NOT draw crime of any kind to the area. In fact they have upped the appeal, the economy, and standard of living in the entire area by at least 80%.

And I have visited Mohegan Sun, with the exception of a gulf course, they have all the same attributes the Foxwoods does.

Conservatives should not be in the business or of the opinion, that personal responsibility should be waived in favor of restrictive controls. Vice related crimes??? That sounds like term right out of the socialist handbook. It isn't up to you to decide what others do with their money. I go to concerts there and played slots for a while, no real money invested, but if someone can afford it and chooses to spend large amounts, it is not for me or anyone else to say he or she shouldn't. That is called socialism.
