She is a lousy choice as a financial adviser

I disagree. The woman is a great organizer and spokesperson. She has stumbled some, but who hasn't?

I think when she headed HP she was a little over her head. But she's a very gung-ho person and doesn't care where the chips fall. She has a no-nonsense attitude and guts. That's an asset, not a liability. Like I said, she'd make a great press secretary or WH chief of staff.

Hey, I like your thinking! I agree - I never saw her as a serious contender for VP. The talking heads just like to flatter themselves with their cleverness.

Just answer the question of whose best interest is it to snipe at Fiorina? Do you suppose that the SF Gate is simply being fair and balanced, or do you suppose that they are carrying water for Obama and the DNC with this plant article?

McCain has a record of reform. I think he understands that this has reached a boiling point and the border must be secured.

Bridge? McCain was against that too. LOL

LOL. Fat chance.

Truth is...they would hate to see the Repubs be the first to get a woman in one of the top slots.

She makes me vomit. For one thing you would think a woman her age could hold her head still while she talks. I believe she is to the left of mccain but what do i know.

Oh yeah.

Terrorists can sleep easier knowing they won’t be waterboarded or have to stay at Gitmo if caught.. and who cares that freedom of speech was infringed? and borders? who needs ‘em?

Where’s his coattails, btw? He must have the same tailor as aRnold.

It is simply about smearing someone high in the McCain campaign in hopes it will hurt McCain

Are you folks paid by the RNC?

If Norman Bates has even a smattering of conservatism in his soul, Norman would recognize that the problem is not with the opposition or their sycophants.

The problem is with the angry, liberal, little man with a Napoleonic complex and his new spokesman who nearly destroyed a perfectly good company. One is the definition of a political looser and the other a business failure in spades.

I knew someone who worked at HP and he would become very angry at the mention of this woman’s name. “She drove the company into the ground” he would say.

Maybe someone can tell me how being the head of a corporation prepares you to be President of the most powerful nation on the planet. While Obama has no executive experience and no experience in the private sector and not enough experience as an elected official, being the head of a corporation is all this person has on her resume. She's never held an elected office. Never had to report to a constituency. Never had to draft or vote on legislation. In short, aside for being a leader in corporation, she doesn't have a much better resume than Obama. I've worked in corporations for over 20 years. I've learned that those at the top don't necessarily know what they're doing and didn't get there by earning it through successes.

Yes, it is a qualification. But you need a lot more to be President. A Veep needs to be ready to step into those shoes.

Carly Fiorina at Lucent: FAIL!*

Carly Fiorina at Hewlett Packard: FAIL!*

Hey John, you see a pattern here? If you want a woman to influence your campaign, choose Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. She'd make a great VP also.

* Carly is a great example of The Peter Principle. She is perhaps a little unique in that she's been given multiple opportunities to demo the principle.

she is playing fast and loose with the facts

she's a saleswoman who will do and say anything to sell a product--now McCain (and herself)

The faster the gop dumps this woman, the better.

A whopping three or four people were waterboarded. Probably outside of Gitmo as well. The borders will be secured. McCain has committed to it and the political environment will demand it. I’m not even going into CFR because I don’t see that as a campaign issue. I don’t necessarily agree with everything in CFR but in time SCOTUS will address any issues I’m sure. Arnold? He’s about to sink California. McCain on the other hand actually has a record of fiscal conservatism.

We would attend corporate meetings with Carly, she would speak for an hour and a half and leave everyone wondering what in the hell did she just say.

As a general rule, when CEOs visit sites and hold "all hands meetings" to babble on for more than an hour about how wonderful everything is then something is wrong.

Some of these people really love to hear themselves talk. They will spend a lot of the company's money just to babble at thousands of their employees for hours.

My daughter went to work for Hewlett Packard right out of getting her degree in Computer Science. When she first went there they were ranked in the top ten companies “to work for”. Fifteen years later she couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Carly was part of that reason.

Simply don't appreciate partisan diversions.

The problem isn't Democrats or the MSM. The problem is McCain and Fiorina.

Republicans need to get their house in order before condemning their opposition.

I am holding my vote for McCain until I find out who he picks for VP. If no one I like, I probably wont vote this time around. If Obama gets it, I will just mark that up as, if American is that stupid they deserve him.
