I dunno about raw olive oil, but I fry up onions and garlic in olive oil and butter, then simmer that and some hot peppers in chicken broth for a quick sauce to put over noodles.

It’s not good to cook with olive oil. It burns to easily.

I always use butter with olive oil when cooking,,,,compound butter, ooooooooooooweeeeeeeeeeee! Good stuff! In fact I just made some compound butter over the weekend!
