Definitely not the same product. I used to rely on them for quality women's clothes and children's clothes at very fair prices. I still have some of my BS (Before Sears) clothes and they still look good for all the washings. My older turtle necks are soft and still retain their colors. The old pima polos are still my favorites.

Yup! I also LOVE Vermont Country Store. They have so many things of quality and selection. Clothes, linens, shoes, cosmetics, gadgets, right down to penny candies from our childhood. The quality is outstanding.

My husband has bought their classic twills for years. We have some that are over ten years old and still going. The newest ones we’ve bought in the last year, have all frayed around the hems and seams. No abrasion resistance at all. They look older than the old ones. Horrible quality.

He’s considering Bean now that there’s an outlet store in our area.
