I don’t see how this is good at all. This will only make Obamanation look like more of a sympathetic figure. The media will breathlessly tell us that this is an example of how Obama has overcome so much, and how he will bring positive Change™ to a nation that is in need of an inspirational unifier. Wait and see.

I see it as a sign of a fracture within the AA community.
He had everyone wowed during the primaries but his condescending(in JJ’s eyes)speeches and the Rev. Wright controversy will hurt him a little.
I have been encouraged by anecdotal evidence from AA friends/co-workers of mine. Smart black men and women know that the emperor has no clothes.
Osama will no doubt carry the day by historical margins when it comes to support within the community but I don’t think the average person who doesn’t care about politics will be motivated enough to GOTV for Obama.
He’s not the real deal.
In addition, I think that any time the drive-by media is distracted away from clawing at McCain for a day or two, it is a very good thing.
