That's irrelevant. The tested sample, as the article states, comes from the clothing that JonBenet Ramsey was wearing at the time of her death.
The scene was contaminated beyond all ability to make sense of the evidence. The cop let the family roam at will throughout the house. The father brought JB up from the basement ... the mother threw herself on the body only to transfer all the fuzz from her sweater.
The Boulder police have much to be ashamed for.
From what I heard, the newly-detected DNA was on JB’s clothing, including her underwear.
