the Boeing KC-767 transfer rate of 900 gpm is 6570 pounds of fuel per minute.
Sorry no.
air-attack.com:KC-767-GlobalTanker "The fuel transfer rate for the centerline hose and boom is 600 gallons per minute and the wingpods at 400 gallons per minute."
airforce-technology.com: KC-767 Tanker Transport Aircraft "The boom can refuel at the rate of 600gal/min, the centreline hose at 600gal/min and the wingpods at 400gal/min."
That's using the 5th generation boom, which is OK for Italy and Japan as they only have fighters.
For the US requirement Boeing have promised an imaginary 6th generation boom at 900gpm, but at the moment it's brochure-ware.
My bad. you are right 600.
but i don’t find anthing above that for the EADS to date.
biggest number i find is 599gpm
