America, its allies and the Iraqi people have won the war against terror in Iraq. How do we know? Simple. Just follow the money. European and Asian investment companies are beating a path to Iraq, money in hand. Not that I don’t recognize the enormous strides that have been made in Iraq, I’m not ready to holiday in Baghdad just yet. lol
keep you guard up and your powder dry and maybe this will be true 6 months from now.
Quagmire bump.
Things certainly have improved in Iraq, but I’m not sure how we can claim we’ve “won” against terrorism anywhere. Mostly it’s more like a game of Whack a Mole.
good analogy
Once we are sure that Iraq is safe from Iran or any terrorist inroads, I’m in favor of pulling out. Our military is extremely capable, to include extremely capable of training other militaries, and I’m reluctant to build an overly strong military for the Iraqis. With this kind of progress, I hope to see us out of there within 2 years. I’ll accept an aviation mission in Iraq based out of Kuwait or the Persian Gulf.
That's a European way to put it.
I’m American...I just like that phrase. :)
Al Qaeda has been beaten every time it’s stood up to a real fight. Its leadership is a collection of cowards issuing videotapes.
damn straight we won
Why do we continue to elect politicos who actively root for American failure?
