I’ve missed the “Dunham” thing. Where does that come from?
His mother’s name was Dunham. Until a legitimate BC is released, (not the photoshopped copies all over the place) we have no idea if he has changed his name or not.
Besides, liberals are supposed to have hyphenated names (think Hillary Rodham-Clinton)
So barring any official correction, it’s Barry Dunham-Obama.
The Dunham thing is in regards to the mother’s maiden name. She was 18 and perhaps truly unmarried which may be a huge issue because the birth certificate may have real discrepencies in several blocks. A fellow Freeper asked me to post this post that I placed on another thread as he/she feels it may be relevant here:
“...Regarding the birth certificate, my colleague and I went over a State of Hawaii Birth Certificate from 1963. There are three information blocks that may have caused problems for Obama. 1. Father’s race-Is it possible he insisted that they put down Arab? In Dreams from My Father, Obama makes it clear that his father distinguished himself quite proudly from average Kenyans through his Arab heritage. If the original document came out and it became clear that we were going to elect a gentleman to fight the war against Muslim Extremist who’s own father was Arab, that might be problematic. 2. Child’s race-I seem to recall that Mr. Obama, Sr. was not there for the birth of Barrack, Jr. Is it possible that in the heat of the moment, in a Polynesian/White hospital with a white mother and two white grandparents and a white baby (as all babies are in the first couple days), that the birth certificate records the child as being white? If so, this would cause issues among the Is he black enough? folks out there and issues as well about his credibility as to whether he is whom he presents himself to be. 3. The child’s name-Remember, this is a boy who was called Barry all the way through high school. What if that was his real name. What if he were truly born and named Barry Dunham as the writer above mentions? What if he stylized the name only when it served his purpose into the Pan-African name he uses today. In Dreams from my Father Barry starts using the Barrack Hussein Obama, Jr. name just around the time he starts to craft an argument as to why Columbia should rescue him from his life of suburban mediocrity at Occidental College in LA. Perhaps his name really is Barry and he is just an ordinary mixed race kid from Honolulu. Perhaps Barrack is the artifice that he contrived in order to seduce the Ivy League into bringing him up. This too could be a problem with the whole credibility issue. Do we know this guy? Is he just a fiction he keeps rewriting to get the next thing on his bucket list. There’s only one way to know and that is for Obama to release the original Birth Certificate...”
