When I was on the search committee for a new Dean of the College of Business at Creighton University, we had an applicant with a Ph.D. from Harvard and an MBA and undergrad degree from the University of Chicago. He had been an assistant dean for something like 6 years and had all kinds of impressive publications and research grants. We invited him for an interview, which did not go well. Subsequent checking proved that his entire resume was bogus. With the possible exception of his birthday, everything else was completely fabricated.

everything else was completely fabricated. They should prosecute this and lying about citizenship to get a job the same as bank fraud since money is involved. This has gotten out of control. A few public prosecutions would help. Resumes from Indian born IT workers are really bad. They succeed too often at displacing legal honest tax paying Americans from getting a job.
