So, they want these global warming scores out there to educate the public? I think it’s just the first step to mandating that cars have a certain minimal score, similar to what is done with gas mileage requirements. And then the next step will be a mandatory carbon credit tax applied to the cost of vehicles that don’t meet the standard.

Its’ hard to believe this is all educational only. Theoretically people will take the scores into account when buying a car, but, what if too many buy cars that don’t score well on the global warming scale? In that case, that’s where mandatory action comes into play.

No way, they'll keep changing the standard to continue raising taxes.
