There is an ongoing debate on Free Republic as to the legitimacy of your birth certificate posted on your website and on Kos. It is a spirited debate with people on both sides of the issue, some support the document as being a legitimate copy and others have pointed out the errors in detail.
We know you and your campaign have to be aware of this on going debate because this controversy is not limited to Free Republic; the debate is an issue on many other sites foreign and domestic.
To put this debate to rest takes little effort on you and your campaign by supplying a verifiable hard copy of your birth certificate to the public.
It is mystifying to many why you and your campaign have not done this before to squelch the rumors because your hesitancy has now become to look like stalling and just furthering the speculation.
There are some who speculate that it is deliberate move by you and your campaign to let this issue fester to keep Free Republic and other sites espousing theories which, in the end, will hurt the credibility and paint it’s members as conspiratorial, in nature. IF this is the agenda by you and your campaign, it would be ill advised because there is ample evidence that the documentation of your birth certificate has been shown to be suspicious, at the very least.
We are asking you to provide the very basic of requirements outlined in the Constitution, that you meet the eligibility to hold the office as President of the United States.
End this debate and speculation now by supplying irrefutable evidence of your origin and all this controversy will be put to rest and we can begin to debate issues instead of mystery and suppositions.

No point in him releasing a real copy right now. Better to have the controversy keep boiling, then late in the campaign release the real deal. Will have much more impact later.

The charge that Obama is a Muslim is much harder to disprove. Already 10% - 20% of Americans think he is. This is the charge that needs to be pounded. It’s a win-win-win charge
#1: Obama is a Muslim and will lose the election.
#2: Obama denies being a Muslim and creates an outcry from Muslims forcing him to pander to Muslims, causing more Americans to think he’s a Muslim
#3: People believe his denials and conclude that he’s actually a student of black liberation theology
This is a non-issue. His alleged “patriotism” or lack thereof is a non-issue. Whether he is a closet muslim because he went to a muslim school is only a marginal issue, at best.
That he went to a racist church with a racist minister, whom he called his spiritual mentor? Big issue.
That he has the most socialist voting record in Congress? Big issue.
That he lacks character necessary to be POTUS (by repeatedly throwing “undesirable” associates under the bus). Big Issue.
That his economic and taxation programs will ruin the US economy? Big issue.
That he has no concept of diplomacy and what it takes to maintain our national security in a dangerous world? Big issue.
Let’s keep the focus where it needs to be.

This is a non story. He was born in Hawaii. He is an American citizen. It doesn’t matter if his parents weren’t married or if his mother was young. Born in Hawaii is the important piece of this puzzle. (Every document posted on the internet should be considered a fraud as far as I am concerned).
What WILL be picked up by the media is why McCain hasn’t filled out a W-2G form with the IRS. He plays craps- big money craps from reports that are coming out- and he would have needed to fill out that form. This will get play in the media- loud and long if true - not a non story about a birth certificate that MAY have a different name on it or show his parents to be un married.

Oh, you have no proof that he was born in Hawaii or that he was an American Citizen by birth or you would have posted it by now.
Big issue because he LIED and said he was never a Muslim.
We should keep the focus on important, true and real issues. Gas prices, taxes, oil supplies, the war, the supreme court. These are all important, real and true issues- and these are what people are going to vote for.
So he lied. Big deal. Check the tagline.
All politicians lie. Every single last one of them. They say what they believe...will get them elected.
You focus on your reasons and we will focus on ours.
We are not the enemy except for those who want Obama to win.
