Surprisingly- I heard it on ABC Radio News today. No caveats or buts or wriggles. They just reported it. I was listening to Bob Brinker’s show, which had some leftoid filling in for Bob, going on about how Congress should tack a huge tax on gasoline, so that we’d all be forced to ‘do the right thing’ and buy more fuel-efficient cars. Because that’s how they do it in Europe you see, the fountain of all that is sweetness and light.

It was really weird to hear sense on the ABC news and nonsense on Brinker’s show. The audience *slammed* Brinker’s fill-in. :-)

I heard it too. It was on WABC-AM 77O in NYC at 5PM. I made a comment here.

Check the links from Yahoo and Google News in comment# 1.

Right, and five years from now as the country begins exiting depression and into improving fiscal territory, (awaiting the next crop of leadership) will the left admit they should have also attempted drilling our own supply that it may have ‘eased’ global oil pricing.

I think some in the MSM are now hedging there bets thinking the President will write his own book. The President has far too much class to ever discuss these secrets, just as he didn’t publically defend the Administration when we heard all the ‘Bush lied and people died’ crap from the libs.
