Before I cast a vote, a couple of questions cross my mind ... such as whether or not the man or woman seeking office would be good for the country (or state or town). This election cycle, like no other before it, has really impressed upon me that I am a conservative ... and not necessarily a republican. I will vote for every single conservative that appears on my ballot, sincerely believing that it is in the best interest of everyone concerned ... from my family and town to the rest of the world.

McCain's biggest selling point is that he is not Barack Obama. I received one of those fundraising letters the other day from McCain/the RNC, and McCain was really down on the liberals and democrats in the congress ... you know, the ones he considers his good friends any other day of the week? If McCain believes that they are as dangerous as all that, why does he continually reach out to make deals with them? He makes my skin crawl just as badly as Obama, although not for exactly the same reasons.

Desperate times, in politics at least.

Perfectly put, and I feel the same way.
