Oh please. Of course they made mistakes but to say they were "as wrong as they could possibly been" is just silly. Hamilton, for instance, predicted that the judiciary would become exactly what it has: overburdened in complexity and out of control. Also, although he couldn't say what the cause would be, he predicted the Civil War and precisely what would happen to the military and militia.
The Anti-Federalist nails a lot too, but isn't all correct in its predictions, either.
