“If I do die, so what, I will sooner or later anyway, or do you actually think you are going to get out of life alive?”

The problem isn’t dying. It is being massively crushed and crippled and living in constant pain for the next 30 or 40 or 50 years. I would sooner drive a safe vehicle and spend 2x more for gas than take a chance on having to live out the rest of my life in misery.

How about we let each American make that decision individually, rather than make lots of dumb rules to protect us from ourselves?...

All we need to have more efficient transportation, is a lot fewer laws and regulation.

Let freedom ring.

Well kirkwood old buddy, I only have about 20 years at the most and they probably won't be very pleasant years if I have a stroke or something. If I get crushed in a car wreck that will just hasten the time. I haven't got 50 years unless I live to be 110 years old, which is possible but not when you have been crushed and crippled. I will still drive my TR7, I love it and will keep running it until it drops and too bad they don't still make them. Do you realize how rare 37 MPG was back in 1980?

Here is my final word, drive what you like, tell the global warming pr**** to kiss your a** and do what you want. Vote conservative to ensure that you can do what you want. I will drive what I want and that will make us both happy:)
