Video: Code Pink Stalker Rushing Stage at President Bush Speech at Monticello 7/04/08

Members of the terrorist-supporting group Code Pink repeatedly heckled President Bush's speech at a naturalization ceremony for new American citizens this morning at Monticello, the home of Declaration of Independence author, Thomas Jefferson.

Code Pinko Desiree Farooz, infamous for getting in the face of Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice at a House hearing last fall in a stunning breakdown of security, rushed the stage where President Bush was speaking. Taking advantage of distractive actions being taken by other Code Pinkos, Farooz was able to get past the front row and turn toward the stage before she was intercepted by security.

It appears that she was able to get close enough to the stage that if she had explosives secreted on her person she could have done the unspeakable.

You Tube video here. The 42 second video was posted by David Swanson, moonbat extraordinaire, of AfterDowningStreet.org. Sadly, Swanson claims to be a graduate of Thomas Jefferson's University of Virginia.

Local news reports the protesters were ejected from the grounds after their outbursts, but that no one was arrested.

The Secret Service needs to explain why Code Pinkos keep getting close to their protectees. Last weekend Farooz got close to John McCain when she rushed the stage at a speech he was giving in Washington, D.C.

Of course, Barack Obama has nothing to fear from Code Pink, they're funding him.

Another thing that bothers me is the 9/10 attitude of those in attendance. Not one person in the audience tried to stop her.

(1) Any potential assassin can observe how these leftist freaks behave and utilize one of these moments to strike. (2) As you note, the Secret Service is obviously getting lax when they allow a Code Pinko freak to rush so close to the President. (3) As another poster noted, "Squeaky" Fromme was just this kind of lefty nut -- how do we know one of these freaks isn't going to have a gun or bomb one of these days? We don't know it and the security bubble around the President has become much too lax.

And Jonah J - Thanks for the summary. I have noticed the same pattern and I will expand it to include the provocation of George Allen which led to his losing to lamebrain Webb. This isn’t happening by chance, but is being choreographed by the left.

What to do? Some Thoughts..

1) Pressure your elected official about congressional hearing protocol, it’s unacceptable as it is.
2) Not certain about best way to pressure fed enforcement to take action, but I remember, no demonstrator could get within sight of Clinton at his events.
3) Be active and vocal, not silent and passive.

I was apoplectic that she was allowed to get within INCHES of the Secretary of State during wartime--heads should have rolled with whoever is responsible for Condi's security back then (does the Secret Service protect the SecState, or just the Pres?).

Here's the pic, she approached with fake blood on her hands, and was in Condi's face for what seemed like an eternity--the ONLY thing that kept this from being a physical assault (or worse) was that Farooz herself refrained from contact. (The spectators in the audience just looked on in stunned apathy then, too.)

What the devil is going on with this lax security around our highest leaders during wartime? There is NO excuse whatsoever for what happened today given this woman's history. Someone must be held accountable: the signs of a disaster brewing are obvious. We've been lucky so far, but how many hints do we need to wake up and get serious about security?
