First and foremost Happy Independence day!!! As I have read the posts as well as the stories of our Great Fore Fathers I draw so much closer to my conservative roots and how I can define them with a logical and relevant thought process. I believe as a conservative that what transpired 232 years ago set the stage for what can be accomplished by true loyalty to country. They did not want a handout nor did they want government to be their safety net. Communities were strong because even with disagreement they helped each other. They shared the common Love of THEIR country which was for the People and by the People. Their act of Sacred Honor bestowed on an unknowing nation something which I believe will never die nor be surrendered that which is Freedom. Freedom to lead, Freedom to Love, Freedom to worship and the Freedom to be wrong sometimes and STILL be a Great Nation worth pledging my Sacred Honor for!!!
