As a football fan who follows the Philadelphia Eagles a bit, I was disappointed that the Times ignored Rush’s short stint on ESPN when he spoke the unspeakable: “(Philadelphia quarterback McNabb is) “overrated ... what we have here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback can do well—black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well.”

All three points true, but none of them what ESPN wants us to hear on their shows. Rush resigned from ESPN shortly thereafter.

Did you follow the article the whole way to the end? Where it mentioned Rush is toying with the idea of buying an NFL team?

The possibilities are simply wonderful to consider...
