It's an incredible piece that will be in the NY Times magazine of all places.

Somebody should tell Rush they repealed that federal law making it a felony to be photographed w/out a cigar to show everybody how cool, powerful, and manly one is.

Hi, Tx!
Yes, this is a great article--hard to believe the NYT decided to publish it.
I love this part:
Recently, I sent Limbaugh an e-mail message, his preferred means of long-distance communication, asking what his own presidential agenda would look like. His answer reflects his actual concerns. A Limbaugh administration would seek to:
1. Open the continental shelf to drilling. Ditto the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
2. Establish a 17 percent flat tax.
3. Privatize Social Security.
4. Give parents school vouchers to break the monopoly of public education.
5. Revoke Jimmy Carters passport while he is out of the country.
6. Abandon all government policies based on the hoax of man-made global warming.
No. 5 was a joke. I think.

Zev Chafets and the editor who approved this story better get their resumes warmed up before the white shirts up there find out.

I was wondering if a fairly accurate article about Rush in the NY Times might be one of the lesser known signs of the Apocalypse. ??

Yeah, hard to believe this was really printed in the Slimes! Are they okay over there, and they’re really surprised by No. 5? Hahaha!! Good stuff!

Good article. I am surprised that Hannity could be considered a serious contender for Rush’s “throne”. I give him credit for the Wright/Ayers thing. But he follows Rush here and when he starts to talk, I realize that I have already heard these ideas...from Rush. Rush makes me think, I draw conclusions that he will often confirm. Hannity, though I like him for who he is, is like a yelping dog and actually thwarts my though process. I do like it when Hannity has guests, it helps. Maybe I am of a different generation.

I listen to Limbaugh, until he does his worn out daily impersonation of Clinton. Then I have to turn him off. He also sucks air - worse than any broadcaster I’ve ever heard - very distracting - sounds like he’s slurping on his golden EIB microphone. And let’s face it, folks, like all of the talk show hosts, he’s a braggart, too.
Nevertheless, he’s good and Way ahead of the Great American.

The photo of Rush with the cigar sort of looks like an old photo of Orson Wells in Citizen Kane.
Believe it or not America needs more Rush Limbaugh's not less.
