Listen to world events this week in radio and see how this medium is changing. World of Radio #1415
Carl G Eilers has died. He developed FM stereo in 1961 and High def TV Stereo in 1984.
He died of a heart attack in june at age 83
I hear it on WWCR I think.
I listen on WBCQ
Sometimes it is very interesting especially when something big happens in some far of place in the world.
I like when they report clandestine stations in conjunction with events.
World Wide Country Radio
World Wide Christian Radio yes of course, but I could swear they had a program called world wide country radio on their station.
I know I have heard it at 1800 UT on 12160 Khz
on saturday
1800 ut on sat 12160 is listed as “WWCR Staff” They were playing bluegrass and identified the show as world wide country radio when I marked the show in my files
