"Evangelical" is a broad media term, often used to insinuate that faithful, Cross-oriented Christians are media-driven, soundbite-oriented Christians with very little education--or at least such is the impression one is given.

United Methodists might consider themselves "evangelical," but they aren't in the historical Reformation sense. A lot of the Joel Osteen followers might also consider themselves to be "evangelicals," but I have to ask, "Just what does that term mean these days?" Accepting the MSM's definition of 'evangelical' is plainly stupid.

Orthodox, Bible-believing Christians will have nothing to do with Obama, so your point is well taken.
