Of course it’s a cynical no lose proposition for him to support the faith-based initiative — he can hoodwink conservative Christians into voting for him while he enlargens the role of the government in religious charities so as to be able to impose liberal norms on sexual morality, etc. on the latter.

Yes, government-controlled religion would be even better to the Leftists than their manufactured idea of separation of church and state. We don't want any community faith programs sponsored by Obama, if they are anything like that race-baiting, anti-white, anti-American "church" he attended for 20 years. And if he was given the undeserved honor of being President, he would staff such a program with his rascist anti-American associates Farakhan (don't care if I misspelled it) Rev. Wright and Jesse Jackson, among others.
