One saving grace will be that I don't think his wife will let him waste 10s of millions on another fruitless run.

Also I think things will finallythave sunk low enough in the country (think end of Carter's term) that even the most wishy washy “Conservatives” plus the old Regan Democrats will finally be ready to put away vanity candidates for one who actually is conservative.
