Romney is articulate and at least reached out to conservatives during the primaries. Like I said, I respect him for that instead of someone like McCain who gave conservatives the middle finger. I don't like Romney and was among those who criticized him here extensively, but it is what it is, unfortunately. Such a ticket would give conservatives a lifeline and Romney would be a fool to go back to being a liberal once he's the VP.

I wouldn't be enthusiastic about the ticket and I wouldn't volunteer or donate, I'd just quietly vote down-ticket GOP and it really depends on what both McCain and Romney say over the following months leading up to the election that will weigh my decision to vote for them.
