I should add that neither Democrats nor Republicans are going to save us from this future generation of suicidal ignoramuses. It is a matter of worldview and culture; both parties are currently out to lunch. Not that one should expect a political party to ameliorate such things, but some genuinely do.
"Abbie" is a product of the earlier generations, i.e., the Boomers and early X-ers. A lot of the cultural "revolutionaries" have no idea what is in store for them.

ARTICLE IV sect. 4. The United states shall guarantee to every state in this Union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive, (when the legislature cannot be convened,) against domestic violenceTheir "out" on this is probably that the interpretation of an "invader" in the founding documents was meant to describe an invading, armed army, not an invading army of people seeking work and/or handouts. You know how they just love to dither with "meaning" in the founding documents. After all, they found the "right" to an abortion in there, and the "right" to remove any mention of God from public schools in there too. Today's politicians see whatever they want to see in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Just for fun, I threw out a couple more comments on the Rania youtube muzzie lovefest.

Delayed response, but a response nonetheless:
ive only heard him mention his wife 1 time, granted i listen on tape delay, do miss some hours, did his wife tell him never to tell a story about her ;)
Savage speaks about Mrs. S. like I speak about Mrs. O.: only when it's appropriate--well, most of the time. ;)

Another delayed response:

Northern Exposure? I watched it as a kid, and it seemed rather bland. But then again, I've never been to Alaska, so perhaps there are a lot of regional and cultural jokes that I missed. ;)
