Being born in Hawaii is not enough to make him a natural born citizen by then extant US statute if only one parent is a US citizen. Naturalized maybe. Natural Born, no.

There are many who have given a pretty good argument that you're wrong about that... But I think it all starts by learning where the man was born, and NOT to take his autobio at its word....
