Police in Toronto, Canada concluded that the 16-year-old-Pakistani girl Aqsa Parvez, was murdered by her father... and her brother, for refusing to wear the hijab or veil as is the custom for women in traditional Muslim households.

Not yet the battle is still on, just like in the US. There have been gains and losses on both sides in both countries.
