AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Speaking of which, I saw an article the other day about English translations of Chinese menus in preparation for the Olympics. They translated "capon" as "chicken without sexual life."

I dont think getting in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president. ...playing Devil's Advocate here - sure, if that had been McCain's only accomplishment to date, they Weaselly Clark was correct. But, contrary to what Obama's attack dogs are trying to say, that's not all McCain has accomplished.
I think that, unlike other former presidential contenders, McCain is not making his military service stand front and center. I could be wrong on this, please feel free to correct me - but what I've heard out of McCain is more policy-driven than "I fought in Vietnam, you know."
And frankly, the more I look at McCain, the more I like. Dunno if he's running to the center as a part of the election, but I'm hearing more and more good things (fiscal responsibilty, no socialized medicine, etc) come out of his mouth.
I don't like some of the bills he's authored in the Senate, though. I'm not sure if I should believe what I see now, or what his record has been.

Late Jersey Pings!
Too bad Rush cut in on Snerdly and told him what to say. I think that was a mistake, because it makes Snerdly look like Rush's puppet.

Franklin: Nor would I, were I given the full rights of an Englishman. But to call me one without those rights is like calling an ox a bull. He's thankful for the honor, but he'd much rather have restored what's rightfully his.

Re. McCain’s “fiscal responsibility.” He has already admitted that the economy is not his strong suit. The fact that he now has Carly Fiorina (former CEO of both Lucent and HP) as his chief economic advisor proves this.

Look up Penny Pritzger - Obama was raised — that is how and why he wrote his book -— raised from a pup at Harvard, by Prizger and the Olinsky suck ups.
