A federal court ruled against Planned Parenthood and rejected an injunction against a state law requiring doctors to tell women seeking abortions that they may face serious medical conditions and will "terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being."
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit issued a 7-4 ruling Friday to lift an injunction against the South Dakota informed consent abortion law. Attorneys representing the Alliance Defense Fund filed a friend-of-the-court brief on behalf of the Family Research Council in defense of the law.
"A woman's life is worth more than Planned Parenthood's bottom line," said ADF Senior Counsel Jordan Lorence in a press release. "Anyone truly concerned about the interests of women supports making sure they have access to all the information necessary to make a fully informed decision. Planned Parenthood, on the other hand, has argued adamantly to restrict the information women have about the lives of their pre-born babies. We're pleased the court's decision today will make sure women have access to the information they need and deserve."
The court said U.S. Supreme Court rulings allow a state to "use its regulatory authority to require a physician to provide truthful, non-misleading information relevant to a patient's decision to have an abortion, even if that information might also encourage the patient to choose childbirth over abortion."

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Now that's a beautiful thing. I'm just going to bask in that phrase for a moment.
The cover story of the July National Geographic says "Who Murdered the Mountain Gorillas?". Murdered? Gorillas can be murdered? But it must be proven in court that unborn babies are human beings. God have mercy on us. That is just so sick and twisted.
Best pro-life bumper sticker *ever*:
“If it’s NOT a baby then you’re NOT pregnant”
If you are Pro-Choice, you’re saying you have the Choice to Murder
Just a suggestion: Since “unborn” sorta gives credence to the left’s arguments, how about “pre-born?”
Wonderful news. Planned Parenthood is an agency of the devil.
Pro Life vs. Pro Death
The term “pro-choice” is little more than a more socially acceptable euphemism.
If one side is “pro-life”, it logically and literally follows that the opposing side must necessarily qualify as “pro-death”.
No matter how they attempt to dress it up with misleading semantics, the truth is just that.
No gray area truly exists.
I love that bumper sticker because I always hoped it would make women stop and think about the logical inescapability of the statement.
If they understand the sarcasm of “not really being pregnant” because they do not believe it is really a baby, then they should logically have no reason to get an abortion.
If they chose the abortion anyway, they had been made fully aware of what they were doing.
[although I may be overestimating the average reasoning power of humans....again].....:)
I thought the same thing while watching a show on tornados on the NatGeo Channel...gorillas can be murdered? Isn’t that a legal definition reserved for humans?
Think of all the electrons who would still be alive had I simply said that, instead....:)
That is a great bumper sticker. I have another good one on my car that many people have made a point to say how much they agree with it. Once I was on a California interstate and a lady followed me to an exit where I was getting gas to ask where she could find them.
Mine is a quote from Mother Teresa: "It is a poverty to decide that a CHILD MUST DIE so that you may live as you wish."
Wow.
That’s a really hard hitting one, too.
INDEED.
The Bible said our era would entail
worship of the creature instead of the Creator.
How low Western culture has sunk.
I LOVE it! ;-)
Or just drop an "f".
