Ron Cogan, editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, is one of the top automotive writers in the country. He is often quoted on MSNBC and newspapers.

Ron will be discussing with Al Rantel the Green Car of the Year, which his magazine names each year at the L.A. Auto Show.

I've done some writing for his newsletter and magazine and worked on several ride and drive events. It was at a ride and drive a few years ago in San Francisco where I nailed Arianna Huffington caught in a Chevy Suburban. She was mocked all over the internet, and the photo was sold on eBay. One of the most knowledgeable and plainspoken people on subject of cars, oil and energy in general is Peter Huber, a fellow at Manhattan Institute and a contributing columnist at Forbes magazine.

He is also an author of several books, among them Hard Green: Saving the Environment from the Environmentalists (2000) and The Bottomless Well (2005).

He would be a great guest on any radio show dealing with these issues.

He was like that before he met her. I've met people who've worked for him. He was rather strange.
