Let’s see — which churches opposed contraception in the early 20th century, and which still do?

Abortion, Divorce, Euthanasia (that would be death with dignity)... They got the whole damned thing called life pretty much surrounded... all with excellent rational reasons of course... which can all fall under the heading of “Mental Cruelty”

Well not my Church. What was it that Chesterton said?

Well this is a brutal paraphrase but: “On the one side you have a marble statue and on the other an ice statue in all ways identical, practically indistinguishable... except with the sacramentalism gone - in time - rather mercilessly dependent on the weather.

Now those Churches that caved in, are talking about “schisms”... but they’re only squabbles.

Not sure what your point is, but Catholic countries in Europe, such as Italy and Spain, have the lowest fertility rates.

I don't think the issue is which church, but whether the participants have a traditional, rather than a liberal, view of life.

As stated by other posters, it is the traditional Catholics, Evangelicals, Orthodox Jews, Mormans that are producing large families in the Western world.
